Samode Palace
The Samode Palace is an ancient haveli that is the ancestral
property of the Rawalas of Samode, Rajasthan. Rawalas are the descendants
of the royalty and have a long and traceable lineage. This beautiful and
majestic haveli is about four hundred years old. Of late this ancient home
has been converted into a comfortable hotel run by the Rawala family. The
family traces its descent form Prithvi Singh of Amber who lived from 1503
to 28. This heritage palace hotel is constructed in the characteristic Rajasthani
pattern of an open courtyard with rooms leading off the arched corridor
that runs along all the four sides of the mansion. There is a hall of mirrors
