Mandawa Haveli was built in 1896 by Thakur Bhagwat Singhji, the 15th ruler
of Mandawa,. This feudal principality in the heart of the Shekhawati region
was ruled by the clan of Kachhawa Rajputs from the house of Amber. Their
ancestor Rao Shekhaji was a scion of the house of Amber who struck out and
carved a separate kingdom for himself to the north of Jaipur which was named
Shekhawati (The garden of Shekha) after him.
Narain
Niwas Palace, Jaipur 
Narain Niwas was a country residence to which Amar Singh could withdraw
when he wanted a change from his busy administrative and court life, and
from the cares of 'the Kanota family's Haveli ( the Narain Niwas ) within
the walled city. Like other noblemen of old Jaipur State, he built his "garden
house" in the vicinity of Rambagh, the pleasure garden and palace whose
construction was begun in the 19th century by Maharaja Ram Singh (1835-
1880).

The Rohetgarh Heritage Hotel is a delightful journey back to the Rajput
past. Rohetgarh was the fortified mansion of the Champawat clan of the Rathores
of Jodhpur. Thakur Dalpat Singh I received the fiefdom of Rohet from the
ruler of Jodhpur in reward for his military prowess in 1622. This heritage
mansion has been home to generations of brave warriors. Even today the traditions

Umaid Bhawan is one of the largest and grandest private residences in the
world. It offers a choice of 98 rooms and suites. Each room appointed with
the furniture originally created for the Palace. Surpassing the splendor

used by Maharaja Umaid Singh his Maharani. In the foyer leading to these

Neemrana Fort Palace Built since 1464 AD, Neemrana Fort Palace is India's
oldest heritage resort. It is also Rajasthan's closest palace from New Delhi,
situated at 122 kms. on the Delhi-Jaipur highway - only 100 kms from Delhi's
international airport. Sited on a majestic plateau, concealed in a horseshoe
formation of the billion-year-old Aravali ranges, Neemrana became the third
capital of the descendants of Prithviraj Chauhan III, who was killed in
battle by Mohammad Ghori in 1192 AD.

The Samode Palace is an ancient haveli that is the ancestral property of
the Rawalas of Samode, Rajasthan. Rawalas are the descendants of the royalty
and have a long and traceable lineage. This beautiful and majestic haveli
is about four hundred years old. Of late this ancient home has been converted
into a comfortable hotel run by the Rawala family. The family traces its
descent form Prithvi Singh of Amber who lived from 1503 to 28.
